Staff onboarding and induction
Clear lessons that a new colleague can finish on a phone or a laptop.
EdWorX Course Production
Online courses for your staff, your learners or your clients, built alongside your team.
Some courses are needed sooner than a busy learning team can build them. Others have to run on a particular platform, in your language, or on a phone. Tell us what your people need to learn, and we will work it through with you, one step at a time.
We can build in English, Romanian, Arabic, Spanish, French, All European languages, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, all main Asian languages.
Who it's for
Choose the one closest to your situation. The page will show what we would build for you. If none fits, scroll on; the rest of the page is for everyone.
For companies
A new policy, a new system, a new group of managers. The date is set, the slides exist, and nobody has the time to turn them into something people will want to open. We begin with what your people need to be able to do and where the gaps are. Then we write the storyboards, build the questions that show people understood, and finish the course, ready for the learning platform you already use.
Clear lessons that a new colleague can finish on a phone or a laptop.
Short modules with real situations and questions at the end.
The change explained in plain language, with a check that people understood.
From delivered work
We began with a needs assessment and a review of skills gaps, wrote the storyboards and assessments, and prepared each course for the organisation's own learning system. We also ran sessions for its team on how adults learn.
For consulting firms
A course often arrives in the deliverables late in an engagement. We can build it from your technical brief, review it with your experts, and hand it over in the form your client expects, so your team stays with the work you are known for. If your client has a style guide, send it with your technical brief and we will follow it.
Built from your brief and checked by your subject experts.
Reports, frameworks and tools turned into short lessons people can follow.
Each review round carried out in every language the course uses.
From delivered work
A six-module course for an international development institution, written from its own technical brief in English and Urdu, and taken through three rounds of review in both languages before launch. It was made by a team of ten: a learning designer, a subject expert, an evaluation consultant, a quality reviewer, a graphic designer and a courseware engineer, among others.
For universities and training providers
Your faculty know the subject and your learning designers know how adults learn. What is often missing is time. We build alongside your team, in Articulate Rise or on your own Moodle, and we make sure the people who support your learners know how each course works.
Short, well-structured modules your staff or students can return to.
Set up for the learning platform you already use, including Moodle.
A short tutorial for tutors, facilitators and helpdesk colleagues.
From delivered work
eLearning modules for ongoing upskilling in higher education, written in Articulate Rise and set up to run on several learning platforms, including Moodle. Separately, a Romanian and English course with a tutorial for the people who support learners, built on the client's own Moodle.
For NGOs and programmes
The people your programme serves may learn on a phone, in a second language, with little digital experience. We design for that from the first storyboard, and where it helps we pair a course with in-person support, so that no one is left to work it out alone.
Short lessons, large type, simple navigation.
We can build in English, Romanian, Arabic, Spanish, French, All European languages, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, all main Asian languages.
A course used together with in-person help at a local centre.
From delivered work
Learning content on Moodle for a labour mobility programme in the Pacific, designed for phones and for learners with limited English or digital experience. We are building it now. Also, a two-language digital skills course used alongside in-person help at public libraries.
What we build
Slides, policy notes, handbooks and workshop material become a course with clear lessons, short checks and a finished package for the learning platform you already use.
When there is nothing to start from, we begin with what people need to be able to do, review the gaps with your experts, then write the storyboards and build the assessments.
Films of two to three minutes with a few questions at the end, and older courses brought up to date so that they work on a phone.
We also run short sessions for your own team on how adults learn, when that would help.
Delivered as standard learning-platform packages (SCORM 2004 or HTML5), authored in Articulate Rise or Storyline, and made to meet WCAG 2.2 where you name it at the start.
How it works
Every course goes through the same simple path, so you always know where it stands.
Send what you have: slides, documents, notes. We talk through what people must be able to do, the learning platform you use, and the date.
You see an outline and the first screens. Your comments sit in one list, and we work from that list, so nothing is lost.
You receive the course in the form your learning platform plays, together with the working files.
A person from our team reads every note and replies by email. Nothing begins until you have said yes to a written proposal.
Examples from delivered work
International organisation
Started from a needs assessment and a skills-gap review, then storyboards and assessments, and a package its own learning system could play.
Development institution
Written from the client's technical brief in English and Urdu, and reviewed in both languages before launch.
Higher education
Written in Articulate Rise and set up to run on several learning platforms, including Moodle.
Programme for learners on phones
A Romanian and English course with a tutorial for the people who support learners, built on the client's own Moodle. And, in a Pacific labour mobility programme we are building now, content designed for phones and for learners with limited English or digital experience.
No client names. The shape of the work, not a list of clients.
Where we sit
Our teams in three time zones keep the work moving across the day. We have built in English and Urdu, and in Romanian and English.
Tell us what you need to teach
Tell us what your people need to learn, and roughly by when. A person will read it and reply by email.
